Key Responsibilities: l Follow written instructions (SOP) for all critical processes. l Processing GC capillary columns. l Follow all Safety procedures, including wearing appropriate protective equipment. l Prepare GC capillary columns for processing using tools according to written instructions. l Material verification and inspection l Schedule time efficiently to complete work orders in order of priority. l Data entry in AX/Access computer system l Keep all work areas, equipment, and tools neat, clean, and organized. l Maintain and repair the equipment as needed. l Transfer completed GC capillary columns, with documentation, to QA department for inspection KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE l 1 – 2 Years Manufacturing experience preferred l High School Diploma l Ensures all work is accurate and free of errors / defects l Requires analytical thinking and problem solving l Attention to detail, pay specific attention to tasks l Strong organizational skill, plans and assigns resources in a detailed fashion PHYSICAL DEMANDS: l The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. l Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. l While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. l The employee must have the ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include ability to distinguish the nature of objects by using the eye.
