Pay Rate:
$35-$40/hr. 

Overview

Our client is a leading company in the aviation industry, providing comprehensive customer service support throughout the lifecycle of aircraft. The company’s team in Miami plays a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence and managing critical customer situations, especially in relation to repair suppliers.

As a Flight Services Repair Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for managing the timely and cost-effective repair and delivery of parts. You will oversee supplier performance, address any operational issues, and foster relationships that ensure the highest quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Challenge and validate commercial quotations in line with procurement guidelines (e.g., flat rate, PBH, time & material).

  • Contribute to the achievement of global FHS Repair cost targets.

  • Oversee supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and repair of parts according to contractual obligations.

  • Identify root causes of issues, initiate corrective actions, and follow up at supplier facilities.

  • Conduct operational meetings with repair shops to address outstanding issues, repair statuses, and reconcile data.

  • Ensure suppliers adhere to technical standards (SB, upgrades), work scopes (minor/major repair), and certifications (EASA, FAA, CAAS).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Aerospace, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

  • A minimum of three years of experience in the aviation or supply chain industry.

  • Expertise in supply chain management and supplier operations required.

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% to visit suppliers (3-5 times per year).

  • Strong negotiation skills, relationship management, and results-oriented approach.

  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Technical knowledge to challenge quotations using the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM).

  • Experience with Maintenance Part 145 is a plus.

  • Fluency in English (spoken, written, and influencing) required; proficiency in French or Spanish is a plus.

  • Experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, Gslide, Gsheet) 

  • SAP experience.
