Now Hiring: Quality Control Inspector
Location: Rochester, NY
Pay: $16.50 – $18.00/hr (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Are you someone who prides themselves on attention to detail and ensuring the highest quality standards are met? If you have experience with measurement tools like calipers and micrometers, we want you to join our team as a Quality Control Inspector!
As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring the quality of parts before they are shipped. If you’re ready to contribute to a dynamic team and play a vital role in maintaining product excellence, apply today!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Inspect and sort parts for quality assurance before shipment
- Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to verify product measurements
- Maintain accurate audit logs and record shipment quantities
- Report any quality issues or discrepancies to your supervisor
- Assist with maintaining an organized and clean workspace to ensure safety
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Follow all company procedures to ensure non-defective products leave the facility
What You Bring to the Team:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect defects and measure parts accurately
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, or other inspection tools (preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Prior experience in quality control or inspection is a plus, but not required
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment withstanding prolonged periods of sitting and lifting up to 20 lbs
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
