About:
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for independently executing filling and kit assembly functions in a GMP environment. They ensure proper documentation alignment with manufacturing schedules and guidelines, including participation in new product introductions or validations. Additional duties include prioritizing tasks, maintaining lab cleanliness, restocking, problem-solving, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves upholding safety and quality standards, participating in cycle counts, and performing occasional equipment calibration, maintenance, and other support tasks as needed to meet department objectives
Experience:
• Experience working under ISO 13485 is a plus.
• Previous manufacturing experience in biotech or pharmaceutical company is strongly desired.
Responsibilities:
- Execute filling and kit assembly job functions with limited supervision in GMP environment.
- Ensure production job packets contain all necessary documentation, following the manufacturing schedule and adhering to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Participate in new product introduction or new product validations as required.
- Responsible for executing high priority tasks such as back-order jobs, special work orders, reworks.
- Participate in general laboratory maintenance functions such as regular cleaning of lab facilities, cleaning of lab equipment, and proper disposal of waste, etc.
- Place orders, restock, and organize manufacturing consumables.
- Actively participate in resolving problems or issues in area of responsibilities.
- Initiate and support continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain safety and quality standards in manufacturing.
- Participate in cycle count when required.
- Occasionally perform routine equipment calibration and preventive equipment maintenance,
- defrost freezers and refrigerators, and other routine cleaning, etc.
- Occasionally may assist in other areas as necessary to fulfill department goals
