Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for your next opportunity? Kelly is hiring for our client, a leader in distribution, seeking reliable and safety-conscious operators to join their team!

Job Overview
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating material handling equipment to move, store, relocate, and count merchandise. This role requires safe and efficient forklift operation, along with general warehouse duties such as order picking, shipping, and inventory management.

Schedule and Pay

  • 1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | $21.00 per hour

  • 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM | $22.50 per hour

  • Weekend Shift: Friday – Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM | $23.00 per hour

Must be available to train on a Tuesday at 9:00 AM for first day

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and electric pallet jacks in daily tasks.

  • Unload inbound shipments and transport products to appropriate storage locations.

  • Pick and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Perform inventory tasks including cycle counts and stock rotation.

  • Use RF scanning equipment to track and manage inventory movement.

  • Conduct equipment safety checks prior to operation and report any issues.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

Qualifications

  • Must have experience operating sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and electric pallet jacks.

  • Minimum of 3 months of forklift and/or warehouse equipment experience.

  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.

  • Comfortable working in a variety of warehouse conditions (temperature, noise, lighting).

  • Must be available for irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if needed.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
