Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $55-70K/year depending on experience

What’s a typical day as an Accounts Payable Clerk? You’ll be:

  • Managing accounts payable functions by efficiently receiving, reviewing, and processing invoices for payment, ensuring alignment with company policies.

  • Preparing and executing electronic payments, optimizing cash flow, and monitoring discount opportunities.

  • Communicating effectively with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies and maintain positive relationships.

  • Accurately maintaining vendor files and financial documentation for audit readiness.

  • Reconciling monthly statements, ensuring all transactions are accounted for, and resolving discrepancies.

  • Ensuring compliance with policies and regulations while assisting in financial report preparation.

  • Working closely with procurement and inventory departments to verify goods receipt and support finance team in month-end processes.

  • Identifying and implementing workflow improvements, addressing issues promptly.
