Laboratory Technician
Kelly Science & Clinical seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician to join our team. The Laboratory Technician will conduct laboratory experiments and analytical testing, under direct supervision, to support client sales, product line management, and research and development. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in chemistry or related fields who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a lab setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct laboratory experiments to generate technical data aligned with the functions and goals of the organization in a safe and efficient manner
• Process incoming materials to be used in testing
• Set up and organize required testing equipment and consumables
• Carry out experimental work according to standard operating procedures
• Effectively record data in laboratory notebooks and/or electronic format
• Recognize and communicate trends in experimental data
• Effectively communicate results and observations to the Laboratory Manager
• Document results in standardized written reports
• Follow all safety and standard operation procedures
• Manage time efficiently
Education/Experience Qualifications:
• Associate degree or B.S. in Chemistry or a related scientific field
• 0-3 years of experience in a chemical; petrochemical or related discipline required
• Demonstrable skills in general chemistry and laboratory experience preferred
• Experience with routine laboratory testing and analytical instrumentation preferred
• Familiarity with oilfield chemistry and its applications is a significant plus
Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate:$20-24 per hour dependent upon level of education and experience
