Kelly Services is hiring on behalf of our client in Brantford for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant with a focus on Accounts Receivable. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity—if you have strong QuickBooks experience and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Prepare and issue invoices, apply incoming payments, and reconcile customer accounts
- Assist with bank reconciliations and general accounting support
- Handle billing inquiries with professionalism and accuracy
- Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end close
- Support the marketing department with data entry tasks
What We’re Looking For:
- 2–3 years of accounting and AR experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks (Desktop/Online)
- Intermediate MS Excel skills (e.g., spreadsheets, formulas, data entry)
- Strong customer service skills and a professional phone/email manner
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to adapt quickly in a busy office
- Comfortable working on-site full-time (Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
