Job Title: Inventory Worker – Record Center Specialist
Location: Omaha NE 68134
Length of Assignment: Up to 1.5 years
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Job Description: We are looking for dedicated Inventory Workers to join our team as Record Center Specialists. This role involves maintaining and processing physical assets stored in our Records Center. You will handle incoming and outgoing orders, load and move boxed items and wheeled bins, and manage internal moves, permanent withdrawals, and special projects.
Primary Functions:
- Process daily incoming work orders and rush orders from Client Services
- Scan carton barcodes and locations
- Investigate and resolve order discrepancies
- Manifest orders, bundle, and prepare for shipment
- Scan incoming containers, files, and tapes each morning
- Process client onsite record reviews
- Retrieve files, containers, and tapes daily
- Put up files, containers, and tapes within specified timeframes
- Assist in loading and unloading company trucks and vans
- Ensure regular scanner communication and process steps are completed daily
- Maintain assigned racking and row upkeep
- Accurately prepare necessary paperwork
- Communicate difficult order issues to the manager
- Inspect and maintain all equipment, including scanners and record center vehicles
- Perform auditing as scheduled or requested
- Observe safety procedures and report any safety issues to the supervisor
- Communicate regularly with your direct supervisor about potential issues
Secondary Functions:
- Advise the appropriate manager of any issues requiring immediate attention
- Participate in safety and security drills
- Understand your role in the Company Disaster Recovery Plan
- Report all accidents and injuries immediately to your supervisor
- Travel between facilities when necessary
- Collaborate with team members
- Work overtime as necessary
Additional Duties:
- Continuously move boxes from one location to another
- Occasionally perform heavy lifts
Work Hours and Shifts:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Two 30-minute breaks (one paid lunch)
- No overtime or weekend work expected
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Length of Assignment: Up to 1.5 years
