Electrical Technician – $32.50/hr+ | High Point, NC
Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Long weekends every week!

Join a leading manufacturer of custom packaging materials and laminated solutions serving industries like medical, food, and industrial applications. Our High Point, NC facility is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled technician to keep our equipment and operations running smoothly.

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (3-day weekends!)

Pay: $32.50/hour – negotiable for the right candidate based on experience
What You’ll Do
In this hands-on role, you’ll install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain a wide range of electrical systems and components. You’ll play a vital part in supporting production operations by ensuring machinery runs safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

Install and inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components.

Diagnose malfunctions, repair or replace faulty parts, and calibrate equipment.

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment.

Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and PLC programs.

Work safely in a high-voltage environment, adhering to LOTO and arc flash protocols.

Assemble electrical panels, harnesses, and install infrastructure wiring.

Respond rapidly to equipment breakdowns and service requests.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious professional with a strong foundation in electrical theory and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in an electrical technician role.

2-year degree in Electrical Technology (required).

Proficiency with 3-phase systems and 480V equipment.

Strong understanding of NEC standards, troubleshooting, and AC/DC systems.
-
Able to use hand/power tools and a wide variety of meters and gauges.

Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
Physical & Work Environment

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and wear PPE at all times.

Comfortable working in a high-noise, industrial setting.

Full range of motion for walking, standing, lifting, and bending.
