Make the most of your weekends and join the Polaris machine operation team at our Monticello, MN location. If you are looking to make extra money, or to leave your weekdays open for other goals, this is the perfect position for you.
Embrace the convenience of a three-day work week.
You’ll enjoy working 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, totaling 36 hours. Competitive pay.
Shift and Pay Details:
- Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Hours: 5:45 AM – 6:15 PM
- Pay Rate: $21.85 per hour, with weekly pay
What is a typical day as a Machine Operator? You’ll be:
- Operating CNC equipment and be responsible for the proper use of machines, tooling and inspection equipment.
- Loading parts into machine and verifying settings by measuring positions, first-run and sample parts.
- Maintaining production rate in terms of cycle time, quantity and quality assigned to the job.
- Using various measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers and other inspection gauges.
- Making high quality parts to specifications and assisting with the identification of root causes and corrective action for quality problems.
- Performing in process inspection of machined parts and accurately completing the required paperwork such as the Inspection Process (IP) sheet.
Skills Required:
- Experience as a CNC Machine Operator (1+ years preferred)
- Experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience using hand tools, such as calipers, micrometers and inspection gauges.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Have a high school diploma or GED
