Job Title: Patient Services Representative

Job Summary:
Join our dedicated team as a full-time Patient Services Representative, where you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive exceptional service. Located in a dynamic medical office, this position offers an exciting opportunity to be cross trained in both the Phone Room and Front Desk operations. Job Specifications:
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Appleton, WI
Pay Rate: $17.50/Hour
Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Roles and Responsibilities:
– Provide exceptional customer service to patients and coworkers in the Phone Room.
– Operate a multi-line telephone system to manage interoffice and external calls.
– Register patients and schedule appointments efficiently.
– Retrieve and verify insurance information accurately.
– Prepare the clinic for the arrival of the first patient at the Front Desk.
– Greet patients warmly as they enter the clinic.
– Handle check-in duties, including collecting copays and updating registration information.
– Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception/waiting area.
– Perform other duties as assigned to ensure a cohesive and friendly environment for patients and guests.

Qualifications & Skills:
– Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
– Proficiency in computer use, with extensive computer work involved.
– Medical office experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
– Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
– Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
– High school diploma or equivalent required.
– Experience ranging from 1 to 20+ years is welcome.
