Kelly Science & Clinical has a new, temporary-to-hire opportunity for a QC Chemist in Cincinnati, OH!

Pay: $23-$25/hour
A Temp to Hire Opportunity
Shift: Rotating 12 hour shift; 6pm-6am

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Conduct chemical, physical, and performance testing in support of 24/7 chemical manufacturing operations, following established policies and procedures
  

• Analyze raw materials, in-process materials, and finished product samples
  

• Perform data entry and generate and file records;
  

• Set up laboratory equipment and perform calibrations
  

• Recommend/initiate corrective actions for lab and product nonconformance
  

• Support and adhere to safety, quality, 5S, ISO, GMP, and housekeeping policies and procedures
  

• Actively contribute to continuous improvement processes in quality, environmental, and safety areas

Education Requirements:

• 4 yr. Chemistry Degree.  Zero years of work experience 
  

• 4 yr. Associated Science Degree with 2 years minimum QC work experience 
  

• 2 yr. Chemistry or Equivalent with 4 years minimum QC work experience  

Qualifications:

• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and computer literate
  

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
  

• Ability to interact professionally with manufacturing employees regarding quality-related matters
  

• Familiar with standard lab methodologies and instrumentation
  

• Possess technical skills to achieve challenging objectives
  

• Ability to work effectively both individually and in a team environment

Training and qualification process spans 60 calendar days, Monday to Friday, day shift (40 hours/week)
