Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $29-$35/hr

What’s a typical day as an Overhead Crane Technician? You’ll be:
- Performing OSHA equivalent inspections; documenting and completing warranty work
- Performing preventive maintenance work as requested
- Supporting customers by effectively interfacing with customer and office in repairing equipment as needed
- Performing electrical and/or mechanical adjustments or repairs with or without engineered drawings
- Maintaining rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, and suggesting improved methods and techniques
- Documenting service installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklists
- Maintaining a professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, and organization in all areas
- Developing a working knowledge of Federal, State, and local codes for overhead cranes and hoists
- Being responsible for company equipment including company vehicle(s) and tools
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have 1-2 years’ experience troubleshooting cranes and hoist equipment (preferred)
- Have an Associate’s degree with a concentration in Industrial Electrician, Electro-Mechanical Technology (preferred)
- Can develop a working knowledge of Federal, State, and local codes for overhead cranes and hoists
- Are capable of performing inspections to OSHA criteria
- Can work independently
- Are capable of dealing directly with the customer and representing yourself and the company in a professional manner
- Possess strong communication skills both internally and externally, informing both the company and the customer of the status of the job
- Are quality and results-driven while maintaining a safety mindset
- Are required to use your own hand tools and meter
- Have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
