Kelly® is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Scale Operator to join our team. This role involves various essential duties related to weighing, labeling, and documenting all specifications according to customer pick lists.
Pay Rate:
- $15/hr
Wed – Fri Shift:
- 6:45am – 7pm
Location:
- Statesville NC 28677
Scale Operator Responsibilities:
- Read and understand scheduling and pick lists for each customer.
- Weigh, label, and document all specifications according to customer pick lists.
- Provide each customer pick list for the line team to review.
- Ensure 100% knowledge of the AS-400 data system.
- Identify all production materials, including packaging materials, core tubes, and labels.
- Ensure adherence to lock-out, tag-out (LOTO) locations and procedures.
- Complete shift production records for every customer order and submit to the supervisor at shift closing.
Scale Operator Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strongly preferred: 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment operating machinery successfully.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Leadership abilities to work and direct self-directed teams as needed.
- Basic computer skills with MS Office.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
