Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Lab Technician near Cleveland, OH.

Shift: Monday – Friday 2pm-10:30pm 
Compensation: $21/hr 

Purpose of Position

Provide quality control support in a team environment within a Union facility that manufactures resin and catalyst foundry products by conducting lab testing of incoming materials and finished products.

Key Accountabilities

• Work collaboratively in a team environment with shift supervisors and Union Operators to meet production needs through quality testing and support.
  

• Prioritize production samples for both incoming and outgoing materials.
  

• Conduct tests on incoming raw materials and finished products involving wet chemistry techniques such as Viscosity, Refractive Index, Auto-titration, Gas Chromatography, Boiling Point, and more.
  

• Test finished products for sand chemistry including Strength of materials testing, tensile strength, and compressibility assessments.
  

• Provide and analyze test results to approve materials.
  

• Participate in various laboratory support activities within specific testing programs.
  

• Prepare certificates of analysis.
  

• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and supplies.
  

• Write non-conforming material incident reports.
  

• Adhere to standard laboratory methods, practices, procedures, policies, and regulations regarding laboratory materials and equipment.
  

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Required

• A bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field; equivalent experience in a specific field may be considered.
