Material Handler – First Shift

Pay Rate: $16.70 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7am to 3:30pm
Location: Thomson, GA
Position Type: Temp to Hire

What’s a typical day as Material Handler? You’ll be:

  • Receiving and moving materials within the warehouse

  • Verifying inventory quantity and assisting in inventory level maintenance

  • Maintaining complete and accurate paperwork

  • Operating warehouse equipment in a safe manner, including stock pickers, reach trucks, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Are comfortable with driving equipment and working at heights (up to 30 ft)

  • Have prior warehouse training or experience (preferred but not required)

  • Can read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals

  • Are willing to be certified on equipment by the company prior to using it on assignment

  • Are comfortable working overtime and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
