Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to work at one of the Big 3 in Livonia!! Sound like something you’re interested in? Pay Rate: $21/hr- $23/hr depending on experience

Hours: 6 am – 2:30 pm

What’s a typical day as a CNC Machine Operator? You’ll be:
• Do Transmission and Driveline Prototype Machining
• Operate CNC machines to machine transmission and axle castings on 4 and 5 axes machining centers.
• Build and Gage cutting tools
• Assemble Fixtures.
• Support other processes required before and after casting machining parts, deburring, washing, packing etc.
• Load and Unload parts in a variety of machines.
• Ensure all actions to make high quality parts are being taken
• Ensure Safe operation of CNC machines and machine controls
• Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
• Be team player and quick learner
• Be punctual and have reliable attendance
• Keep work areas clean and organized

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a High School Diploma / GED
• Are flexible to work days or afternoon shifts as required
• Have Machinist experience
• Possess a working knowledge of machine tools and the basic Inspection tools
• Have a good understanding of work holding/fixturing, cutting tools and machining feeds & speeds
• Have familiarity with Fanuc/Siemens/Fadal/Haas machine controls
• Possess good computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
– CNC Programming – Familiarity/Experience is a plus, not required.
