Schedule:  Monday thru Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Job Type:  Temporary for approximately 3 months
Pay Rate:  $20 – $25/hour based on experience
 
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Plans and conducts onboarding for new employees, fostering a positive experience toward the Company.

  • Performs reference and background checks on applicants.

  • Arranges pre-employment physicals and drug tests, and conducts foreign national background screening.

  • Files and maintains employment records for future references.

  • Arranges candidate telephone and onsite interviews, per the hiring manager’s request.

  • Corresponds with job applicants to notify them of opportunities and next steps.

  • Arranges travel and lodging for applicants, as necessary.

  • Utilizes the applicant tracking system to maintain internal job postings and website postings.

  • Attends recruitment events (job fairs, presentations at schools) promoting job opportunities.

  • Assists with writing and placing job advertising in various media.

  • Supports reviewing applications and pre-screens applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position.

  • Maintains metrics data on recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews, hires, transfers, terminations, and days to fill on a daily/weekly/monthly/annual basis.

  • Maintains employee personnel files.

 
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a high-volume coordination environment REQUIRED.

  • Minimum of one year of experience using analytical skills and tools to develop reports, graphs, and business metrics.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or an equivalent field preferred.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to effectively work with others and maintain a professional demeanor.

  • Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

  • Travel to career fairs and recruitment events required.
