Title: Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Eagan, MN – Apple Valley, MN
Hours: We offer both full time 40 hours a week and per diem openings! No weekends!
General overview of position:
We are looking for a passionate Speech Language Pathologist who enjoys providing access to therapy for children and their families while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to provide the kiddo and family with top of license therapy care. Able to quickly jump into a new caseload of patients and provide care at the top of their license. Efficient at documentation during point of service and be effective with a high volume of patients within a day
Hiring Profile:
Working post graduate as a therapist in a pediatric setting with a team of therapists. Treating a caseload of 12 or more patients a day. Confidence in child led play, interventions for developmental delay, sensory integration, emotional regulation, fine motor delay, handwriting.
Main Responsibilities:
- Experience with pediatrics and optimally outpatient pediatrics
- Efficient with EHR documentation of therapy at point of service
- Experience working on a multidisciplinary therapy team and able to jump in and see a caseload of patients for the first time using previous documentation to help guide the care
Breakdown of Responsibilities:
- Patient treatment 90%
- Plan/prep/documentation/correspondence with patients, families, physicians, other care team members 10%
