Now Hiring: Material Handler – A Shift
Looking to join a fast-paced environment where your work keeps production moving? We’re hiring Material Handlers to support a growing printing and packaging manufacturing team in Rochester, NY.
Pay: $18/hr
Shift: A Shift – Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
(Overtime available during peak production seasons)
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Pulling and staging raw materials, packaging components, and paper supplies to keep production lines running smoothly
- Assisting with unloading incoming shipments and loading outbound freight
- Moving materials across departments using manual and electric pallet jacks
- Supporting cycle counting and inventory accuracy tasks
- Organizing printed materials in designated shipping or storage areas
- Ensuring materials are labeled, documented, and handled according to internal quality standards
- Assisting with general warehouse support and production needs as assigned
What You Bring to the Table:
- Previous experience in material handling, warehouse support, or shipping/receiving (preferred)
- Comfortable working in a print or manufacturing setting where attention to detail matters
- Ability to lift, move, and transport materials throughout the facility
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and a proactive attitude
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
