At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we’re seeking Mechanical Assemblers to work for an actively growing Aerospace Manufacturer, in Clifton Springs, NY. With us, it’s all about finding the right opportunity for you!
Pay: $16-22/hr. (Depending on shift and experience). Temp to hire.
Available Shifts:
- 1st Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm/3:30pm
- 2nd Shift: 2:30pm – 1:00am (2:30pm – 11:00pm for training)
- 3rd Shift: 10:00pm – 6:00am (Training on 1st or 2nd Shift)
- Shift Differential: 2nd Shift – 15%, 3rd Shift – 20%
What does a typical day look like for this position? You’ll be…
- Assembling Parts: Work with hand and power tools to assemble mechanical components.
- Reading Blueprints: Interpret assembly drawings to position parts for accurate assembly.
- Testing & Inspecting Products: Test and inspect components to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements.
- Working with Measuring Tools: Use tools like calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators to ensure precision.
- Performing Additional Tasks: Perform tasks such as coil winding, soldering, and sub-assembly functions as required.
- Lean Initiatives: Contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs.
