Key Responsibilities:
Assembly of Parts:
- Assemble components and adjust interrelated parts based on blueprints and technical specifications.
- Position parts for assembly, ensuring accurate and efficient fitment.
- Assemble and test a variety of moderately complex products to meet customer quality standards and delivery timelines.
- Perform coil winding, soldering, initial subassembly, and final detailing as required.
- Work on products containing mechanical components, single hydraulic systems, and multiple part numbers.
- Actively participate in lean manufacturing initiatives aimed at improving productivity and reducing costs.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Identify and address quality issues in products.
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and other instructions to perform tasks accurately.
- Utilize appropriate assembly drawings and layouts to ensure proper assembly.
- Work with high-precision products and perform detailed inspections to meet exacting standards.
- Suggest and communicate opportunities for lean improvements within assigned processes.
- Complete any additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret simple drawings and use basic measuring tools such as scales, calipers, micrometers, and other standard instruments.
- Experience working with a variety of parts, including regular and special-purpose components.
- Ability to make decisions based on standard work procedures with considerable judgment and attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Compensation:
$16.00 – $22.00 per hour, based on experience.
