Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: Up to $20 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 4:30 pm
Term: Temp to hire

What’s a typical day as a Buyer/Planner? You’ll be:
• Reviewing and issuing purchase orders for goods and services required by the company
• Following up on purchase orders and expediting orders with vendors
• Assisting with outsourcing of different services
• Contacting vendors regarding nonconforming materials and potential returns and credits
• Assisting Sales/Estimating with pricing, delivery, and vendor capability information
• Verifying receipt of items and resolving shipment errors with suppliers
• Identifying and resolving problems, meeting deadlines in a dynamic work environment
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a minimum of 1-2 years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems
• Have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
