Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $35/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Location: Horsham, PA (Hybrid, 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)

What’s a typical day as Conventions Coordinator? You’ll be:
– Reporting to and working in partnership with the Director Congress and Conventions Management Lead, this individual will ensure operational excellence related to planning, budgeting, vendor management and internal stakeholder engagement for major Oncology Congresses.
– This role is accountable for a consistent congress experience for attendees through all pre-, peri-, and post- congress activities. It will support the International Congress Governance Committee and serve as a Congress support in activities such as communications, scheduling and coordination of meeting debriefs, collection of data for performance metric reviews.
– Support conventions across the Oncology Franchise to ensure that the strategy and execution are reflective and inclusive of the Johnson and Johnson US Oncology Portfolio Approach (including budget ownership and tracking)
– Operational Excellence: Accountable for delivery of key operational workstreams and execution of the Congress Excellence Framework. Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and operational improvement, through implementation of new policies, procedures, technology, or other resources hat can evolve our current Congress and Convention Playbook, lead updates.
– Project Management: Develop and manage planning timelines and action plans in collaboration with cross-functional partners and ensure all deadlines and deliverables are met. Provide thorough and timely communication to internal stakeholders and external partners. Accountable for meeting and events logistics (housing, registration, meeting rooms, calendar invites, everything related to selected congress and conventions).
– Cross-functional Coordination: Accountable for collaborating across the matrix and aligning on congress meeting priorities with Global Marketing, Global R&D, and US Cross Functional teams including Brand Marketing, Global Strategic Marketing, Sales, Sales training, Business Analytics, Strategic Customer Group, Medical Affairs, North America Pharma affiliates, Alliance Management, Communications, Corporate and Outside vendors to ensure aligned strategy and execution, identify barriers and execute solutions.
– Evolve the US Oncology Conventions Hub to become and integrated one stop shop for US Oncology
– Challenging the company and industry status quo to identify and develop new ideas with a future thinking mindset. This is not an exhaustive, comprehensive listing of job functions. May perform other duties as assigned.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
– Have a minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent is required (Bachelor’s degree is a plus).
– 5-7 years of industry or corporate agency experience.
– Practical knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing that includes FDA regulatory and legal environment and HCC regulations is required.- Flexibility to work a staggered work schedule covering Monday thru Sunday shifts

– Must be capable of managing multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a matrix and unstructured environment.
– Highly detailed and organized individual with experience delivering large scale events.
– Experience leading continuous process improvement initiatives and best practices sharing.
– Demonstrated success solving ambiguous business challenges.
– Interpersonal flexibility to effectively interact with a broad range of personnel. Advanced communication and presentation skills required.
– Ability to travel up to 20% which may include overnights and weekend travel predominantly domestically with limited international travel.
– Knowledge of Totality & ARIBA
– Experience in Oncology
