Kelly is hiring! We are seeking a temporary Legal Administrator to join our clients Vancouver office. This role will support corporate record management, compliance documentation, and various administrative tasks within our investment management team. The primary focus will be on organizing digital corporate records, conducting minute book reviews, addressing deficiencies, and handling annual maintenance filings.
Please note: this is a contract on 3 months with the possibility of an extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, organize, and update digital corporate records to maintain compliance and accuracy.
- Identify and resolve deficiencies in corporate records, ensuring thorough and up-to-date documentation.
- Manage and input data into Asana and GEMS programs. Previous experience is an asset but not required.
- Prepare and file annual returns and maintenance documents in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide support for ad-hoc projects as needed, assisting the team with various tasks.
- Handle general administrative duties, including document preparation and data entry.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Corporate Law.
- Previous experience in corporate records management, legal administration, or corporate compliance is preferred, including familiarity with filing annual returns and managing director/officer changes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while effectively managing deadlines.
- Experience in real estate, securities or finance roles / law an asset but not necessary.
