Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist
Maple Grove, MN (Hybrid)
Temporary
$26-28/hr

*Regular week: 20 hours, preferably Mon-Fri 8am-12pm
*Some weeks: Up to 30 hours to cover for vacations
*Hybrid model: Maple Grove is the home office for training and up to 2 days a week

Kelly is seeking a Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist to work with our client in the Utilities industry on a temporary basis for 6-12 months to assist with additional workload. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fun team that experiences little turnover and to work with an organization that is experiencing extensive long-term growth!

The Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist will:

  • Scan invoices that are not already received electronically into automation system

  • Review and analyze invoices for accuracy of data

  • Route invoices electronically for approval to appropriate approver

  • Ensure sales and use tax is charged or accrued properly for complex taxing locations

  • Respond to vendor and employee inquiries in a timely manner

  • Review statements

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant accounts payable experience

  • Experience with invoice automation processing

  • Organized and high level of attention to detail

  • Knowledge of sales and use tax laws and procedures

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to work and meet deadlines
