Senior Controls Engineer

$130,000-$170,000
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-performance control systems for automation applications, ensuring reliability and real-time responsiveness.
- Program and configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and other automation control devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate control systems into existing manufacturing processes.
- Perform system analysis, testing, and troubleshooting to optimize performance and ensure seamless operation.
- Provide technical support and training to engineers and technicians, fostering a strong knowledge base within the team.
- Stay up to date with industry standards and emerging technologies in control engineering.
- Ensure all control system projects adhere to regulatory standards and safety requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in control systems engineering, preferably in a live automation environment.
- Strong programming skills in Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or similar languages.
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming and configuration, particularly with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Schneider Electric systems.
- Knowledge of motion control, sensor integration, and data acquisition systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to perform effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
