$18.50 per hour
Long term temp project, minimum 3 months. Chance for workers to be hired direct based on performance and attendance.
Weekly pay.
Rotating 12 hour shift 7:15 am to 7:45 pm:
- Week 1 Mon/Tues/Fri/Sat.
- Week 2 Sun/Wed/Thurs
- Repeat week 1
- Repeat week 2
What’s a typical day as a Production Worker?
The location works with pharmaceutical grade powder and liquid product to create hydrolyzed proteins to preserve food products. This site may have strong foul smell one day and not the next day depending on what they are making.
• Set-up, operate, and monitor various types of machines and specialized equipment
• Check for any defects or malfunctions that may affect the quality of the product being produced or work being performed
• Troubleshoot problems and repair issues
• Maintain records and documentation in SAP software.
• During periods of down time, perform general departmental maintenance, such as painting, cleaning and operational maintenance of department machinery.
• Communicate with other team members to coordinate production activities and ensure production goals are met
• Report food safety problems
• Perform lock out / tag out on machines
• Operate a forklift (experience preferred; training provided)

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have at least 1 year of recent experience in a manufacturing, production, assembly or machine operation environment.
• Have ability to multitask and perform general math tasks.
• Have a HSD or GED
• Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with full range of body motion and lift 55 pounds when needed.
• Forklift experience preferred
• Must be able to work independently and/or on a team in a fast-paced environment.
