Kelly® Professional & Industrial is hiring a Boat Laminator – Infusion Process Specialist for a leading company in Hartsville, SC. If you have fiberglass experience, attention to detail, and enjoy hands-on work, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Position Details:
- Position: Boat Laminator – Infusion Process Specialist
- Pay Rate: $17/hr
- Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Enjoy a three-day weekend: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!)
- Location: Hartsville, SC
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform fiberglass lamination using the Infusion Process, which involves vacuum-sealed resin infusion for high-quality boat components.
- Prepare molds and fiberglass materials according to technical specifications.
- Set up vacuum bagging and resin infusion systems for even distribution.
- Monitor resin flow and curing to ensure quality and consistency.
- Trim, sand, and finish laminated parts for a smooth, defect-free surface.
- Follow safety protocols for handling chemicals and operating equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in fiberglass lamination, resin infusion, or composite materials required.
- Understanding of vacuum infusion techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints and use hand tools.
- Physically fit to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
