Salary/Shift
1st shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00am -4:30pm, $19 hour
2nd shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:30pm-3:00am, $20.33 hour
3rd shift- Friday, Saturday & Sunday ONLY 12 hour shifts 5:45am-6:15pm $21.85
What is a typical day as a Machine Operator? You’ll be:
- Operating CNC equipment and be responsible for the proper use of machines, tooling and inspection equipment.
- Loading parts into machine and verifying settings by measuring positions, first-run and sample parts.
- Maintaining production rate in terms of cycle time, quantity and quality assigned to the job.
- Using various measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers and other inspection gauges.
- Making high quality parts to specifications and assisting with the identification of root causes and corrective action for quality problems.
- Performing in process inspection of machined parts and accurately completing the required paperwork such as the Inspection Process (IP) sheet.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Skills Required:
- Experience using hand tools and measurement tools (specifically hand gauges, calipers and micrometers).
- Machine Operation in Manufacturing Environment (could be CNC, fabrication/metal, laser welder)
- Experience as a CNC Machine Operator (1+ years preferred)
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Have a high school diploma or GED
