Kelly Services is searching for a Production Technician in the Tobyhanna, PA area!

Purpose of Position:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Plant Process Technician. The primary focus of this role is to support compressed gas cylinder manufacturing through various operations:

  • Cylinder assembly and preparation

  • Basic gas filling, blending, venting, and vacuuming operations

  • Processing equipment operation

  • Transport and movement functions

  • Final packaging, cleaning, inspection, painting, leak checking, and labeling

  • Packaging, shipping, loading, and unloading

  • Completion of production and logistics records

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize personal and interpersonal safety

  • Adhere to all site-specific policies and procedures

  • Execute various processes related to compressed gas cylinder preparation and handling, including filling, packaging, and shipping/receiving functions

  • Perform various SAP transactions to maintain streamlined stock, production, and sales order flow

  • Handle tasks associated with stock, production, and sales order realization, including cylinder requisition, record recording, data management, and record handling

  • Collect and record basic operational data to ensure process optimization and product quality

  • Support raw material and product inventory maintenance

  • Review raw material specifications for conformity

  • Provide feedback and/or participate in potential quality improvement and safety projects related to operational processes

  • Perform basic system maintenance and calibration

  • Enter work requests into SAP for required maintenance

  • Enter work data results into the TLIMS system

  • Maintain a clean and well-organized work area

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is required

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols

  • Basic computer skills for data entry and using production software (e.g., SAP, TLIMS)

  • Good communication and team collaboration skills

  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects when necessary

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technology

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
