Job Title: Bioprocess Associate (Night Shift)
Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour
Location: Onsite
Job Type: Contract (6-month duration)
Schedule: Fixed shift schedule. 36 hours the first week, 48 hours the next week, alternating.
Shift Hours: Day: 6AM – 6PM, Night: 6PM – 6AM. Must be willing to work scheduled holidays, weekends, and overtime. This is a NIGHT shift role.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Bioprocess Associate to join our team in a biologics manufacturing environment. This is an entry-level position that provides hands-on training and development in biologics operations. You will work in a clean, classified area requiring adherence to strict hygiene and safety protocols, including specified gowning and personal protective equipment (PPE).
This position is 100% onsite, and you will be trained in biologics manufacturing, including equipment setup, process monitoring, and maintaining compliance with safety standards.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow written instructions, verify data, perform minor mathematics equations, and accurately document results to ensure safe and compliant work practices.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with teammates.
- Strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with common computer tools, including web-based applications.
- A mindset of continuous improvement, with a desire to learn and contribute to a culture of excellence.
- Must be able to quickly understand and assimilate new information.
Nice to Have:
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Familiarity with general chemistry, microbiology, or clean room operations.
- Prior manufacturing experience.
- Prior experience with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) operations or aseptic techniques.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and clean process equipment, including manipulating valves, hoses, clamps, piping, etc.
- Prepare buffers, media, and reagents up to 2000L.
- Monitor process parameters and escalate abnormal conditions as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with compliance standards.
- Ensure a clean and orderly work environment at all times.
- Achieve and maintain proficiency in all responsibilities through ongoing training.
- This position includes physical demands, such as bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, climbing, or reaching, and infrequent unassisted lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Work with hazardous materials such as caustic substances, acids, and steam.
