Kelly Outsourcing Consulting Group (Kelly OCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technician for a long-term engagement with one of our Global medical device clients in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This is a full-time, fully benefited position offering a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Job Specifications:
- Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL
- Pay Rate: $30-33/hr with shift differential of $39 an hour for weekends or after 6PM
- Shift: Monday through Friday, 8AM-4:30PM, alternating weekends as needed
- Travel: Up to 5%
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide radiologic technical assistance in preparing for and conducting human cadaver labs in the Clinical Simulation Department.
- Assist with positioning or removing cadaveric tissue.
- Ensure that lab areas, including surgical pods and support areas, are set up and maintained with appropriate tissue types, instrumentation, and lab equipment.
- Restore lab areas to proper order at the end of labs, disposing of single-use items and putting away equipment.
- Clean instrumentation after use, including hand scrubbing and machine washing.
- Maintain lab and instrumentation cleanliness in compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation and record keeping.
- Maintain inventory of instrumentation, supplies, and equipment.
- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on assigned equipment, including the C-arm.
- Adhere to company and department protocol guidelines for lab procedures.
- Complete all required training in areas of responsibility within the allotted time.
- Participate in the required annual health surveillance program and quarterly audit sweeps.
- Collaborate with internal and external associates and customers in planning and executing hands-on training labs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Associate degree required.
- ARRT registration (RT (R)) with experience in C-arm fluoroscopy.
- Current FL license required.
- Skills and Experience:
- Bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and math skills.
- Strong customer service and leadership skills.
- Ability to follow directions and work under pressure.
- Comfortable working in a medical lab setting with human cadaveric and harvested animal tissue.
- Team player with the ability to work well with diverse groups.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with anatomy, including spine, hip, and thoracic regions.
