Kelly Science & Clinical has a new, temp to hire opportunity for a QC Technician in Indianapolis, IN! 

Shift: M-F | 8am-5pm
Pay: $23-$27/hour, depending on experience
A Temp to Hire Opportunity

Overview: 
Ensure manufacturing processes, products, and components meet quality standards. Test and analyze finished products and raw materials to comply with quality, customer, and regulatory requirements. Produce quality documentation associated with testing and analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Test and analyze manufactured products and raw materials.


  • Maintain and organize test results and quality records.


  • Accurately post production to inventory (ERP system) and report materials used.


  • Prepare and mail samples to customers and external testers.


  • Assist Quality Assurance Manager with internal audits, ISO 9001 and cGMP documentation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.


  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and respond to customer quality questionnaires.


  • Maintain test equipment, report faults, and ensure calibration.


  • Plan workload, meet deadlines, and report progress.


  • Provide data for customer returns, non-conformances, and root cause analysis.


  • Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines and maintain lab cleanliness.


  • Manage lab supply inventory.

  • Analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.


  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.


  • Strong work ethic, self-accountability, and initiative.


  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in chemistry or applied science.


  • Experience in quality control and testing environments.


  • Knowledge of GMP, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001 standards, and quality documentation.


  • Quality auditing experience and computer competency.

Organizational Alignment

  • Reports to Quality Assurance Manager


  • Daily interaction with Production employees.
