Pay rate: $20/ hour or more (depending experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Term: Temp to hire

What’s a typical day as Rework Specialist? You’ll be:
• Soldering and desoldering surface mounted and plated through-hole electrical components using hand soldering irons and automated hot-air desoldering stations.
• Inspecting printed circuit boards for defects and damage while utilizing illuminated bench magnifiers and microscopes.
• Following work instructions and standard operating procedures to complete necessary tasks efficiently.
- Performing transactions and inquiries in ERP system such as completing production move transactions, locating and reviewing work instructions and standard operating procedures, and clocking in and out of work orders
- Ability to read and interpret bill-of-materials (BOM) and assembly drawings, including notes, and interpret and validate soldering specifications/requirements
- Proficient in reading and performing Engineering Change Order (ECO) upgrades including production and modification of products to customer specification
- Familiar with standard technical concepts, standard technical practices, standard technical procedures, and with reading electrical prints for parts identification
- If not IPC certified, must be willing to get certified IPC-A-610 and to complete IPC-7711/21 Rework, Modification, and Repair of Electronic Assemblies
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have experience in component level replacement and a current IPC soldering certification (or are willing to obtain IPC-A-610 certification).
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach to information sharing.
• Are able to lift 25-50 pounds and have excellent eyesight and hearing (color blindness is not permitted).
