We’re seeking a Machine/Forklift Operator to work at a premier food and beverage client in Portland, ME.
Pay: $29.96
Shift: 2nd- 11am-9pm Monday-Thursday
Short Term Temp (Under 10 Months)
What’s a typical day as a Machine/Forklift Operator? You’ll
• Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
• Prepare pallets according to prescribed work standards, stacking and tagging
• Receive and process warehouse stock
• Maintain inventory control, ensuring accuracy in item count and location
• Inform supervisor of all inventory issues, supply shortages, shipping issues, and other concerns
• Load and unload trucks in accordance with standard work and safety protocols
• Inspect incoming and outgoing material to ensure accuracy
• Maintain inventory control, ensuring accuracy in item count and location
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Must have basic computer knowledge; Use of Microsoft Office products and SAP software
• Ability to use RF scanners, inventory tracking and control systems; no prior experience required.
• 1 yr. Manufacturing Warehouse and Forklift experience, preferably in a chemical or food processing facility
• Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds repetitively throughout the day.
