Job details
The Document Coordinator is responsible for the design and execution of specific documentation activities within R&D. We are looking for someone who will work closely with the Product Development team to manage documentation encompassing product formulas and ingredients to ensure a robust support structure for the R&D department, as well as recommend and drive improvement in documentation processes.
Responsibilities:
- Using materials ordering system to order ingredients for trials or bench-top studies, and managing blanket orders for trial expenses and temporary labor
- Tracking incoming and outstanding ingredients for trials, managing spend, and cutting POs
- Preparing support documents and invoice letters for international shipments and supply tracking
- Collaborating with colleagues and cross-functional partners to support the management of formula-level and ingredient-level data and documents
- Maintaining documents and data in SharePoint, PLM specs-and-formulas system, and other locations as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience in a laboratory setting is required with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask across multiple projects concurrently
- Strong computer-based skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Degree in Food Science or related field preferred with some (1+ years) experience in the industry
