What’s a typical day as a Shipping/Receiving Worker? You’ll be:
- Unpacking and organizing incoming items, ensuring accurate inventory records
- Keeping track of inventory levels, conducting regular audits, and updating records promptly
- Utilizing forklifts, hand trucks, or other equipment for efficient stock movement
- Adhering to safety protocols, reporting security issues, and practicing 6S principles
- Communicating promptly with internal teams, providing inventory levels and materials, resolving inquiries, and addressing related issues
- Demonstrating proficiency in using specific inventory management software and basic computer skills
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have attention to detail and a safety management mindset
- Possess dexterity and hand-eye coordination, with the ability to handle small parts and components
- Show reliable attendance, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Hold a high school diploma or GED and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Have knowledge of safety protocols and can follow established guidelines
- Possess physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks
