What’s a typical day as a Workers Compensation Claims Assistant III? You’ll be:
– Responsible for entering medical and miscellaneous invoices into the Medical Bill Payment (MBP) system in a timely manner.
– Proofing and balancing bill batches, transmitting them to the Bill Processing Supervisor and/or Bill Reviewer for evaluation.
– Completing preliminary and final edit processes to pay or deny bills as indicated by the Workers’ Compensation Plant Representative.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
– Have 2-3 years of data entry experience in Workers’ Compensation or the medical field (must have).
– Hold a High School diploma or equivalent (must have).
– Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, along with proficiency in 10 Key Data Entry and personal computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook (preferred).
