Job details

Kelly Government Solutions is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician. The Manufacturing Technician plays a critical role in supporting all aspects of manufacturing operations. This position requires a blend of technical skills, analytical abilities, and a collaborative spirit to ensure the efficient and high-quality production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. The Manufacturing Technician will work closely with engineers and other team members to perform set-up, calibration, testing, and process improvement activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing Operations: Perform a variety of tasks related to manufacturing, including assembly, testing, and inspection of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.

  • Set-up and Calibration: Collaborate with engineers to set up and calibrate manufacturing equipment and instruments, ensuring accuracy and precision.

  • Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality testing and inspection to identify and address defects, performing rework as necessary to meet quality standards.

  • Data Analysis: Utilize sophisticated software programs to collect, analyze, and interpret operating data, making on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment as needed.

  • Process Improvement: Assist in the development and implementation of methods and procedures to control, modify, and optimize the manufacturing process, contributing to increased efficiency and productivity.

  • Experimentation: Work closely with engineers to conduct experiments, gather data, and contribute to the development of new manufacturing processes and techniques.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of manufacturing activities, test results, and process changes.

  • Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

  • Collaboration: Work effectively with engineers, production staff, and other team members to achieve production goals.
