Quality Control Technician
Every day, Kelly Science & Clinical connects professionals with opportunities to advance their careers. We currently have exciting temporary opportunity as a Quality Control Technician with a global leader in the production of medical devices and biotechnology in Milpitas, CA

Location: Milpitas, CA
Contract: 6mo, possible extension
Schedule: M-F, 6AM-3PM
Compensation: $30-36/hr

Responsibilities

  • Experienced support individual contributor that executes tasks that are typically routine.

  • Assists in administrative, organizational, testing and inspection support for the Quality Control department.

  • Performs Quality Control support and maintenance tasks and participates in executing new testing and inspection procedures.

  • Documents quality tests, audits, and inspections in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements.

  • Applies working knowledge of Quality Control requirements to execute tasks and support organizational objectives.

  • Performs sample receipt, management of reagents and supplies, and general housekeeping.

  • Tests samples of finished goods under general supervision.

  • Supports implementation of risk mitigations and continuous improvement projects.

  • Uses data to identify risks and improvement opportunities, and recommend risk mitigations and process improvements.

  • Assists other team members in executing routine tasks.

  • Demonstrates Company’s Leadership Imperatives and Credo in day-to-day interactions with team.

Qualifications

  • Education: HSD/GED required

  • Minimum of 3yrs of direct experience in QC testing in Medical Device setting

  • Knowledge of GD&T and ability to read/interpret drawings

  • Knowledge of inspection techniques and ability to utilize precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc)

  • Knowledge of IPC620 and IPC610 desired

  • Experience with SAP desired
