Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$28.00 to $35.00 per hour
What’s a typical day as Contract Specialist? You’ll be:
– Assisting in the review, drafting, negotiation, and execution of contract and subcontract agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to sponsored program grants and contract awards.
– Collaborating with faculty, administrators, and third parties to ensure contracts align with proposed work and that all parties understand the terms and expectations.
– Conducting non-financial post-award activities, including processing modifications and preparing necessary closeout documents related to contracts and sub-awards.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
– Hold a Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred) with 1-2 years of relevant work experience in research administration.
– Possess knowledge of research administration principles, policies, and federal regulations such as 2 CFR 200 OMB and Federal Acquisition Regulations.
– Are capable of guiding less experienced staff and contributing to special projects as needed.
