Machine Operator – Madison Heights, MI

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00AM – 4:30PM (possible Fridays)
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour

Kelly Services is hiring for a client, a leading manufacturer of snowplows and ice control equipment, is hiring Machine Operators to join their Fabrication Department. This company values safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement, providing a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and oversee machinery to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  

• Perform quality checks and audits to maintain product accuracy.
  

• Identify and resolve equipment issues as they occur.
  

• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards.
  

• Conduct routine equipment maintenance and track production data.
  

• Communicate daily with other departments and shifts.
  

• Keep the work area clean and organized following 6-S principles.
  

• Safely operate a powered industrial truck for material handling when needed.
  

• Participate in team activities, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  

• Experience: 1-3 years of machine operation experience preferred.
  

• Skills: Ability to read blueprints, perform basic math (including geometry and algebra), and use measurement tools.
  

• Technical Knowledge: Basic computer literacy is a plus.
  

• Work Ethic: Motivated individuals who prioritize safety, quality, and efficiency.
