This is a short term temporary position. You must have SAP knowledge
Shift: Monday- Friday 5:00am-2:00pm.
Pay: $25.00/ hour
Production Assistant
The Production Assistant is responsible for checking completed process orders prior to closing out process orders (TECO). Check process orders to ensure variances are in line within defined tolerances. Provide SAP support to production operators.
Responsibilities include:
• Leading and monitoring the day-to-day transactions of each process and ensure that goods movements and hours are properly allocated for all process orders.
• Reviewing completed process orders by production to ensure materials input match the bill of materials.
• Reviewing process orders to ensure variances such as loss %, kgs produced, and machine and labor hours are within the defined tolerances prior to closing the process order.
• Escalating variances not within tolerances to the correct person responsible which can include recipe controller, plant supervisors, and/or quality supervisors prior to closing
• Signing off that process orders have been reviewed
• Support the inventory of SAP and cycle count process as needed.
• Any other duties as required assigned by your manager
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• High school diploma required
• SAP knowledge is strongly preferred
• Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles preferred but not required
