MATERIAL HANDLERS
Our client, a globally recognized leading designer and manufacturer of state-of-the-art power distribution solutions, is RAPIDLY GROWING and expanding their team in Aurora!
$20.00 – $22.00
1st Shift Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow 3D model to install final parts i.e. cover panels, labels, etc. on power cabinets
- Use standard hand tools i.e. drill, wrench, screwdrivers, etc. to complete tasks assigned
- Sort and stage material to be used at final packaging station
- Assemble wood pallets as required
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to appropriate personnel
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized staging area
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of standard hand tools i.e. drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.
- Basic computer skills (i.e., web browser, email)
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and types of materials/components
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately verify and label materials
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Preferred NOT required:
- Previous experience in staging, material handling, or warehouse operations
- Communication skills
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift to 35 pounds
Ability to stand for an extended period
Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, or climb a stepladder while working
Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
