Pay rate range: $60-80K
Multiple shifts available

Medical Technologist positions with a diagnostic lab in the NW Dallas area. The Medical Technologist will be responsible for performing high-complexity testing and follow the laboratory’s procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test result.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Specimen handling, processing, testing, and reporting of patient results following approved laboratory procedures

  • Review and release test results accurately and efficiently

  • Follow established laboratory policies when test systems fall outside acceptable performance levels

  • Identify and troubleshoot issues affecting test performance or result reporting

  • Communicate issues to senior technologists or supervisors as necessary

  • Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines

  • Maintain records demonstrating proficiency testing for patient specimens

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry is strongly preferred.

  • BS in Medical Technology preferred

  • 1 year of clinical experience

  • Copy of transcript is required for consideration

  • Experience with LC-MS or ICP-MS is required

Multiple Shifts Available:

  • Wednesday-Sunday 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

  • Tuesday-Saturday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

  • Sunday-Thursday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

  • Sunday-Thursday 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM

  • Tuesday-Friday 11:00 PM – 9:30 AM

  • Training will be on days, then transition to shift after completing training

These are Direct Hire positions with pay commensurate upon applicable education and experience.
