Job Title: Local Route Driver
Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Local Route Driver at Quaker Bakery, where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and pickups of raw materials and finished goods. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to maintaining high standards of safety and customer satisfaction. Job Specifications:
– Job Type: Full-Time
– Location: Appleton, WI
– Pay Rate: $20-$24/Hour
– Shift: Monday – Friday, 1:00AM to 11:00AM
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Adjust routes to enhance efficiency and ensure ultimate customer satisfaction.
– Adhere to all road and safety regulations while operating larger straight trucks.
– Prevent loss through damage to equipment and products by following established protocols.
– Communicate effectively with team leads to maintain workflow and product quality.
– Uphold safety standards and ensure a clean work environment.
– Report all moving violations to the Office Supervisor promptly.
– Maintain proper handling of temperature-sensitive products.
– Ensure dock safety and operational readiness for loading and unloading.
– Conduct daily inspections of the truck and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
– Manage paperwork, cash, and checks efficiently throughout the day.
Qualifications & Skills:
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
– Familiarity with food safety regulations and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Excellent time management and organizational skills.
– Experience in route driving or logistics is a plus.
