Job Title: Ordering Coordinator
Location: Worthington/Lewis Center, OH
Pay: $16.50/hr
Shift: Monday-Friday: 9:00am-5:30pm
Job Summary
The Ordering Coordinator is responsible for submitting, processing, and completing various wireless device and service orders across multiple web- and email-based platforms while adhering to company and client service level agreements (SLAs). This role requires a high level of attentiveness, adaptability, and effective communication through various channels such as email, instant messaging (IM), and telephone. The Ordering Coordinator will work as part of the Ordering Team, managing several primary clients and providing backup support for team members as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor incoming requests for equipment or service related to mobile devices.
- Interpret requests and submit equipment or service orders to vendors.
- Utilize company-specific databases to record data about each order.
- Perform daily follow-ups on existing orders to ensure all requests are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Utilize resources and critical thinking to avoid potential issues or delays.
- Act as a liaison between customers and vendors to resolve issues and address concerns.
- Provide detailed documentation of each request/transaction from start to finish.
- Manage order requests for multiple clients while building and maintaining rapport with federal and commercial clients.
- Respond to customer questions related to ordering and shipping.
- Provide weekly reports to supervisors related to assigned work.
- Assist with tasks to ensure Logistics run smoothly.
- Assist the Shipping Department with order identification.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s degree is beneficial.
- At least six (6) months of experience with wireless communications.
- General understanding of smartphone devices and services.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and technical support skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Ability to work independently.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to forty (40) pounds at times.
