Summary:
Ideal candidates will have experience with duties that involve but are not limited to: loading/unloading appliances from trucks, shrink wrapping and palletizing items, utilizing hand carts and pallet jacks, helping with installations of appliances, general labor, material handling, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Position: Warehouse Associate
Location: Livermore, CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00AM-3:00PM (1hr. Lunch)
Pay Rate: $18/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Help load appliances and preparing them for shipping.
- Unload incoming shipments off of trucks with care.
- Help organize and store received items in their designated warehouse locations, ensuring efficient space utilization and easy retrieval.
- Assist in periodic cycle counts and audits to verify stock levels, and report any discrepancies or shortages to the Inventory Control team.
- Prepare packages for shipping, ensuring that the correct items are included, labels are accurate, and items are adequately protected for transit.
- Assist in loading outgoing shipments onto trucks or delivery vehicles, following safety protocols and guidelines to ensure secure transport.
- Strong attention to detail Ability to regularly lift, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds Ability to stand for a prolonged period.
- Must be able to effectively work within a team environment Communicate and can follow verbal and written directions.
